Thankful for.........

As we contemplate what we are thankful for, at the top of the list is our family.  So, here are a bunch of random pictures of family.  Most of the pictures have been taken in our favorite corner of the world--Blanding (and close by).

It's always fun to watch the kids play sports.  Carter played flag football and Camryn has just started playing basketball.

We all got blue  "glitter toes" before the BYU-Utah football game as a show of support for our BYU team.  Too bad it wasn't enough to pull out a win for our team :(
Everyone cheered hard........but the outcome wasn't what we had hoped for.

A couple of shots of nature at the field where the horses have been staying

The horses are moved to Ivins' field

Time at Grandma Black's and Grandpa Halliday's

And yes, Twilight came to Blanding.  The line started to form at 2:00 PM for the midnight show!
Life is great in Blanding!!!!!

Semi-final Football

This past week-end (Nov. 8th) Jed and I along with Josh and Dane headed to Cedar City for the high school football team's semi-final game. If they won this game they would play for the state championship the following week.

Josh and Dane (suprisingly Josh ducked out of the picture).

You can't really tell what the scoreboard says, but it wasn't good---Manti:26--San Juan: 13.  The San Juan Bronco football team had had a great season.  They came into this game undefeated but their season ended one week too soon.

Another weekend in Utah Valley!!!

Once again the weekend found us in Utah Valley.  The excuse was that we were there for the State Volleyball tournament.  The San Juan Bronco volleyball team was competing for their sixth consecutive title.  They came up a little short---taking third place.  They had some unfortunate injuries this year and were shorthanded.  They did amazing for how young they were.

We were able to spend time with the family after the games (of course over dinner again)!!!

And then a visit with new baby Scout!!!

Who said Halloween is just for the kids????

Here are a few random pictures of the family on Halloween.  Some scary?  Some cute?  You decide!
