Water at the Colorado Cabin!

The excuse for the trip to the Colorado Cabin this week was to hook up a pipe line and a pump to pump water from the creek into the water tanks.  In the past we had water hauled in.  It had become very expensive.

There was work to be done, but there was also beautiful scenery and wild animals to enjoy.

We spotted a mother elk.....
and her baby at the side of the road.  So cute!

But, then there was the work to be done....
Checking out the pipe line...

Checking out the pump.....

Ellie was supervising.......

And then, after it was all hooked up, the pump was started and the water came gushing through the line into the tank.  It worked.  The 1100 gallon tank filled in about 15 minutes!!

The puppies are gone:(

The sad day came when it was time to sell the puppies.  I took them to Payson/Provo/Salt Lake area.  I sold them amazingly fast---in 3 days they were all gone.
This is a picture of the couple that bought the little girl.

Marilyn's kids and I set up a little stand at Sam's Club.  We actually sold one puppy there.

We took the last two puppies around so everyone could say good-bye to them.

We took Michele's "Pick of the Litter" puppy to her house.  She later sold her puppy to some neighbors.
The final puppy went to a couple in Payson.  All of the buyers seemed like they would be really good families for the puppies.  We miss them but are happy about the homes they have found.

The puppies were all gone by the time I got to Deco's and Kera's house.

Now Ellie is lonely and has to 'hang-out' with the lambs.

Camryn & Panda at the 4-H horse show

Saturday was Camryn's first 4-H horse show.  She and Panda spent a lot of time getting ready!!!
They both look pretty good don't they!!!!!

Panda was a little stubborn at times....but going through obstacle courses and over bridges isn't all that easy.
And then he remembered that he could do all this 4-H stuff......he had done it before!!

Panda and Camryn did really good in their first 4-H show together.

And what about this cute little cowboy?  (he borrowed Hyrum's horse)
