Church ball = broken nose!!

Noelle was playing basketball (church ball) a few weeks ago and she and another girl collided and the result was that Noelle ended up with a broken nose. She had to have surgery this week to straighten it out. This picture was taken after the miserable part (sorry I posted it Noelle but you looked so cute).

Fun at the Lyman Zoo

We had fun this past weekend. Noelle and Heather and the kids came down for a few days!!

The puppies were a hit.
And so was Grandpa.
Scout doesn't look like she is having so much fun at Grandpa's and Grandma's house
McCoy is lovin' that food!!!

Cohen, Logan and Maxon are lovin' helping Aunt Stacy with a cake.

What is better than a lazy, Sunday afternoon with the family?

And the snow came tumbling down

We have been "blessed" with a ridiculous amount of snow this winter which we are very grateful for. But, because of the huge amount of snow that has fallen we are suffering the consequences. There was a lot of snow on the roof and it couldn't really be shoveled off because it is a second story roof and very steep and it is tile. Well, it decided to come down as it began to thaw. The first "avalanche" was last week and it took down our pergola and left quite a bit of snow on the patio roof.

Jed and Taylor were able to shovel off the patio roof and then it was a short jump into the mountain of snow.
And the clean-up continues......
The second and third avalanches came a week later (just this past weekend) and did more damage. The sheet rock ceiling on the patio and the support beams of the patio were ripped apart:(

And this is what it looks like out our kitchen window now. Big, ole boulders of snow came down this time. I am pretty sure we will still have snow on the 4th of July!!!!
We have scheduled another visit from the insurance company. We are thankful for insurance.
