4th of July in Blanding

Have I ever mentioned that the 4th of July celebration in Blanding is the BEST!!  It is aways so fun to see family and friends.  The town of Blanding is always bursting at the seams, as families come together to celebrate our great nation.

Those of us who could get out of bed early (and who are tough) ran the annual 5K.  Well, Palmer actually rode in the stroller, but she was there!!!

And then there is the parade.  It was awesome as usual!
And once again we hung out with family and friends.

                       And then the carnival.

And we went to the dinosaur museum.  It was pretty awesome also.

The day was topped off with the fireworks display!!

This is what it looks like at our house the day after the 4th of July.

Aleyah's Birthday Party

Aleyah turned 4 years old this year.
Her birthday party was quite the extravaganza!!
From the treats........

                                   To the pony rides...............

To the cake......it was a big celebration.

Happy Birthday Aleyah.  We love you!!!!!

The first "Color Run" held in Blanding!!!

In connection with a County Health Fair, A “Colors of San Juan Fun Run/Walk” was held.  A few of us participated.  Even Denver and Palmer completed the route (with a little bit of help).

Logan took a little time to rest along the way!!

Camryn and Baylor also completed the route!! Poor Baylor ended up with sore feet!

We did it!!!!

Cleaning up the Bluff Cemetery

We had visited the Bluff Cemetery a few times and were sad that there were so many weeds grown up around some of our ancestor's graves.  So before Memorial Day weekend we had the goal to go clean up some of those weeds.  We gathered a crew (our family of course) and headed out with tools, gloves and food.  Everyone pitched in and we were able to make a big difference in some of the grave plots.

We cleaned up around Platte DeAlton family plot.

And then we did the Jens Nielson family plot.
It felt so good to see the difference we made
in the way these grave sites looked.
We had done a small service to honor our ancestors!!

Playing catch-up!!

This will be one, of many, catch-up posts.  I am so seriously behind on blogging.  Here are a lot of pictures of my family involved in different activities throughout the past few months.  They are not going to be in the right order as to when the events happened.  And probably won't have much explanation. Sorry, I am so lame!!  But, here are pictures of some of my family.  Love them!!

Maxon, Scout and Cohen went to soccer camp.
Deco, Kera, & Arianna went to the rodeo!

                                      What handsome boys!!!
                                         Livvy, the sharpshooter!!

Addi broke her arm while on vacation in Montana.  She had to have surgery and got a few pins in it.

Livvy's dance program and then her tumbling program.

This is a picture that was taken to show how big my "giant rabbits" have gotten.  They "are" giants!!

                                  Cohen played T-Ball!

                                                   Coy graduated from pre-school!!

                                Logan played baseball.

Carter graduated from 5th grade.  Moving on to Middle School now!!

Lexi swam in some swim meets.

Maxon and Scout also played T-ball.  Denver was part of their cheering section.

This is just a small sampling of what we have been doing the past few months (I know I have left out a lot of important things).  We have been very busy!!!  Did I say, "I love my family"?
