Another fun, surprise date.

Jed planned another surprise, overnight date.  We drove south from Blanding and eventually ended up at Monument Valley.  We stopped at the Mexican Hat Rock on the way and took a few pictures.  How does that big rock balance up there for all of these years without falling off?

Girls' weekend at Noelle's

For the past 4 years Noelle has hosted a girls' weekend at her house. 

The invitations were delivered and this year, these cute sleep masks came along with the invitations. 

The weekend finally arrived. 

After overcoming many obstacles, (snowy roads, sick kids, rashes, Dr. visit along the way, etc), we all  finally arrived at Noelle's house.  (Well, most of us arrived at Noelle's house.  Kristi and Camryn didn't come because Camryn had a volleyball tournament on Saturday morning. As it turned out, they didn't go to the tournament because of the icy, snowy roads but, for that same reason they didn't take off and come to Cedar Hills to party either :( 

For those of us in Cedar Hills, the first on the agenda was a trip to Carrabba's!!

And then we were all back at Noelle's for a few days of partying!!  

         We did not go hungry!!  There was always an abundance of delicious food.

                     
                                And movies to watch and games to play.

  We made cute necklaces and also went to "Color Me Mine" and painted pottery.

      And then there was more food, games, and hanging out at Noelle's

Noelle thought we should all do this dance/game.  Some were cute and good at it.  I wasn't!!

Livvy's Baptism

Our sweet granddaughter, Livvy, was baptized on March 2nd, 2013.

She is a little cowgirl and some of her baptism day pictures were taken with the horses!!

That evening, we all gathered to be with Livvy as she was baptized.

   She had a few of her special friends, including her friend/cousin Addi, come from Utah Valley to be with her on this special day!!

After the baptism we all met at Livvy's house and had yummy food, 

including this cupcake "baptism dress".

We are proud of you Livvy and love you!!

A special Valentine date

This year for Valentines Jed surprised me with a overnight date in Durango, Colorado,  including a ride on the Durango/Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad!!

We boarded the train on Saturday morning and were treated to a very beautiful and scenic ride.

The turnaround point for the train was at a place called "Cascade Canyon".  We stopped and ate lunch and were able to explore a little bit before we headed back to Durango.

         The ride was awesome.  We hope to be able to do it again sometime.
