Our Trip to Oregon--Part Five--Time to Head Home

On Sunday morning it was time to head home.  We were sad to leave Oregon and the fun times that we had there.  We headed down the coast towards California.  We came to a scenic lookout and stopped for pictures.  This big tree had moss like stuff hanging from it. 

 It looked like something from a scary movie!!

 We were going to be leaving the ocean and got a few more pictures.

 Along the way, we came to this roadside tourist spot!! Paul Bunyan and his Blue Ox, babe were there to greet us.

After our stop at the Paul Bunyan place (Klamath, California) we traveled on to the Redwood Forest.  

 These trees are amazing.  We loved seeing them and standing by them where we felt like little ants!!

We eventually arrived in Red Bluff, California, where we spent the night.

 As we continued our trip the next morning, we crossed over into Nevada.  It was lunch time and we decided to take our chances at another casino buffet in Sparks,

Nevada.  We weren't disappointed.  It was delicious.

There was really no gambling going on here for me, only a chance for a picture to send to the kids!!  

We traveled on to Reno. Nevada, where we spent the night.

On Tuesday we started the last leg of our trip.  We finally arrived in Utah.  It was good to be back to familiar territory.  I was dropped off at Marilyn's and Matt's house to stay with the kids for a few days while Marilyn, Matt and Jensen went on trek.  The others traveled home to Blanding.  We had a super fun trip.  Thank you Uncle Mark for planning it and making all the arrangements!!
