It's all about family!!

A perfect beginning to a perfect week...... Our week began with a trip to the SL Temple with Deco and Kera

And then we witnessed the sealing of Deco, Kera and their sweet baby girl, Aleyah, in the Monticello Temple a few days later.

Following the sealing, we went to our house, where Aleyah was given her name and a blessing by her father.

We had a family & friends "party" that evening. (this picture was taken right before the rain storm that made us run for cover inside)

The next day we headed to the Colorado cabin where.............

Kera caught her first fish and.......

the kids played and played and.........

the adults "hung out" and then.......

we went to Ouray and swam in the hot springs pool.
Cohen hates the swimming pools at home but he loved that warm water...

as did everyone else.

There is a pond with some big goldfish right by the swimming pool and it is always fun to watch, feed and in some cases touch them.

And then, there was the picnic in the little park right by the swimming pool.

It was good to get back to the cabin and...........

especially fun to watch BYU beat Oklahoma!!!!!!

And then there were horses and 4 wheelers to ride and......

And the kids went on a scavanger hunt and .........

Logan played in the mud again and again and again....

The week ended with Kristi and Jeremy on the roof filling in where the rain comes through.

We were all kind of sad to have to head home and get back to life and the real world but it was an awesome week. Families are the best!

"A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. The thoughts we think, the deeds we do, the lives we live not only influence the success of our earthly journey, they also mark the way to our eternal goals."

Loved all of the pictures and captions. You have an awesome family! I love the quote at the end and will be copying it and displaying it where I can read it often. Thanks for sharing.
