Yesterday the McBrooms invited us to go with them to the beach. We had to make sure the kittens were fed and happy before leaving. And then we all climbed in with the McBrooms, because we no longer have a rental car.
After the cat's were fed, we all climbed in with the McBrooms. It was kind of a tight squeeze; but we were able to do it. We drove to Playa Hermosa.
The boys wasted no time getting out in the water to surf. This is a picture of Logan on his board.
And this is a picture of Carter with his friend, Shawn, headed out with their boards.
Carter did a good job of standing up a few times and riding the waves in.
We saw a beautiful sunset and knew it was time to head out. It gets dark very fast here!
We hurried into town and went to a restaurant on San Juan beach. As we were eating pizza and pasta, we got to watch a flame thrower. He was pretty good and he then let the kids try holding and twirling his stick with flames.
After a very long and fun day, we finally got home. We were tired and sunburned and sandy. I jumped into the shower to rinse the sand off and here is what I found in the shower with me. This cute, little gecko was just hanging out in there!!! I was able to go grab my camera and snap this fuzzy picture of him!!
