Christmas 2020 started off with a visit from Santa at the Tree for all.
Palmer, Brock, and Blue were excited to visit with Santa.
Beck was less than excited to say the least!
The next fun Christmas tradition was to get
together with the Ivins family and have
goodies and sing Christmas songs.
This night, as we were singing "Here
Comes Santa Claus", Santa came bursting
through the front door. The kids
were so excited to see him.
On Christmas Eve we like to have the kids act out the nativity
as Grandpa recites the story from the scriptures.
We try to take time out from the crazy, busy time that
Christmas brings and remember the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ
and the life that He lived to teach us and help us
have the opportunity to return to live with
our Father in Heaven some day. This is what
Christmas is all about.
And some of the bigger kids get new pajamas also!
And then of the day arrived, Christmas morning.
The kids happy faces bring joy into the hearts
of the parents and grandparents that watch.
What a great way to help erase the uncertainty and even fear
that had been felt by so many during this strange, pandemic year, 2020.
We were ready to move on to a new year!!
