Visiting the Colorado cabin, May 14th & 15th, 2020

On May 14th we decided to go to the Colorado cabin and stay overnight.
So peaceful and beautiful.

This is the view from the back door.  Beautiful, even in the middle of a drought.

This is a post that is at a survey marker at one of the corners of our land.

We drove up to the Morgan Place and then up a steep hill to the area above the Morgan Place where
our friends Todd and Holly McAllister are building a cabin.  We pass by an interesting
grove of quakies that have been used for family genealogy over the years.

When we get to the top of the hill, it feels like we are on the top of the world!
Todd and Holly's cabin (in the background of picture) is turning out to be beautiful!!

This is the old cabin where I spent my summers as I was growing up.
Love it and love the area.  I have so many good memories there.

And then there is the new cabin.  It's pretty awesome also.

Our view of the Lone Cone!

The meadow, the water, the beautiful area!!
