We drove out to Elk Ridge on June 8th to meet some of our friends and
have spend a couple of days camping out in this beautiful place.
This is what it looked like when we got there that evening.
This is what it looked like when we woke up the next morning!! Yup, that's snow.
We went ahead and fixed some breakfast and got ready to go out on an excursion.
The sun did come out and we drove out to do a little exploring.
We visited some interesting ruins and saw a lot of beautiful sights!!
After an amazing day with our friends, we came back to camp and enjoyed
a delicious meal of steaks and dutch oven potatoes with salads and desserts
on the side. We sat around the campfire and talked listened as Alan and Leonie
sang some songs for us.
We love these kinds of experiences with friends!!
