It finally became necessary for Josh to have surgery on his knee. He injured it almost 2 years ago playing basketball and the Doctors said it would probably get better without surgery but it didn't....that knee cap just kept slipping causing a lot of pain and also causing the leg to collapse. And so we visited with Dr. Jackson. The surgery took place at Timpanogos hospital in Orem. Josh was to be there a 10:30 AM to check in and then we sat and waited and waited and waited. They finally took him in to surgery about 2:00 PM. It took about an hour and a half. The doctor came out and told us it had gone well. He expected a speedy recovery!!!!
Don't you just love those ice chips after surgery when you haven't had anything to eat or drink for 24 hrs!!!!!!!!!
Finally able to leave the hospital that evening!!!
On cruches for 3 weeks.
