The excuse for a trip was the Las Vegas Bowl---BYU vs. Arizona. It has become a family tradition for our family for those who are available. This was the first year the women were invited. We went down on Friday afternoon--the game was Saturday night. We had reservations at the Luxor Hotel. It is crazy---it is in the shape of a pyramid--very interesting. This is a picture of the outside of the hotel.
We ate a lot (and drank sparkling cider--promise that's what it is!!) And we went on a few little excursions to see the sights of Vegas
The crutches are Josh's but he chose not to use them. He decided the railing and wall would be easier.
We all got all "decked out" for the game---with tatoos on our cheeks and everything!!
There were fireworks before the game.
How excited do these fans look?????
A little more enthusiasm!!!!
BYU did lead one brief moment in the game. It didn't last long. They lost 21 to 31:(
(This is the part of the trip we had to leave in Vegas---our sadness over the outcome of the game. But we all had a good time in spite of the of the game).
We even saw the "Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile" in front of the Hotel as we were leaving!!!
