On Saturday we went sledding at the 4th reservoir hill. It seemed like the whole town of Blanding was there.
This is Nicole Redd going off of a jump. She landed upright and was OK, but this is the same jump that "cousin/nephew" Spencer Moulton had gone off of earlier. He landed on his stomach and actually knocked himself out. He wasn't breathing for a short time. It was real scary for those who were gathered around him but he came out of it and was OK. He just kept sledding and having fun after that.
Yes, that is blood on Carter's face. He did a face plant in the snow. Grandpa isn't laughing because Carter got hurt, he is laughing because Kristi and I had to get pictures. But, then Carter got hugs and sympathy. Kristi ended up with blood all over her sweat shirt. Carter ended up with a fat, bruised and cut lip.
Saturday was also Carter's birthday. He had recovered enough from the sledding trauma to have a fun birthday party. The pizza on his face shows that he is enjoying it! Spencer was doing OK too!! Happy Birthday Carter. We love you!!
Grandpa and Grandma were pressured into going down the same hill that Carter had just gotten hurt on. It was very scary and fast but we survived!!!!
