When we arrived in Iceland, we rented a van and took off for some-site seeing!
The first place we visited in Iceland was Thingvellir National Park on October 29th. And, yes it was icy and cold but very beautiful.
This was kind of like a geyser-hot steam coming out of the ground!
Look at this cute Icelandic Pledge!
We went on to Reykjavik where we were going to stay.
And then we visited Seltjarnarnes, ReyKjavik, Iceland
These are some large birds out in that field!

Perlan Museum, Reykjavik, Iceland
In 1939, a single hot water tank was constructed on Öskjuhlíð hill in Reykjavík, where Perlan stands today. It is 61 meters above sea level, which gives enough pressure to push water up to the 10th floor of a building, 38 meters above sea level.
After visiting the Perlan Museum we had another stop. We had to visit Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur, a hot. dog shop that is known as the best hot dogs in Iceland. And, they were very tasty, quite possibly the best hot dogs in Iceland!!
