On November 29th, 2019, we loaded up the car and headed to California. We, along with a lot
of our family were going to Disneyland. We were coming from different directions, in different
cars but our final destination was Disneyland!!
That's not a lot of snow but when you in California and
headed toward Disneyland any snow is too much snow!
Our car full of people stayed in San Diego that first night.
In the morning, November 30th, we wanted to play in the ocean and we found Pacific beach
and had a fun time for a few hours.
After playing on the beach, we went by the Mormon Battalion historic site.
Here is some information on the Mormon Battalion Historic Site:

The Mormon Battalion Historic Site is a historic site in Old Town, San Diego, California, in honor of the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) who served in the United States Army's Mormon Battalion during the Mexican–American War of 1846–1848.[1] The battalion was stationed in Old Town in 1847, and they built wells and a courthouse on the site.[2] In the 1960s, the LDS Church opened a visitor center to commemorate their historical ties to San Diego.[3] A new visitor center was dedicated on January 30, 2010.[4][5][6]
The reason we went through San Diego on our way to Anaheim was to
go to the BYU/San Diego football game. It was a rather boring and dismal game as
San Diego defeated BYU 13-3. There wasn't a lot of scoring and BYU lost.
It was a good thing we had Disneyland to look forward to.
