Camryn

This blog post is a little overdue.  Camryn had her 13th birthday here in Nicaragua a week and a half ago.  I need to tell a little bit about our awesome Camryn.  She is such an enthusiastic girl.  She is always wanting to try new things and learn new things.  She always has a bunch of projects going.  I love how enthused she is about life.  I keep telling her to never lose that enthusiasm.
Since coming to Nicaragua 7 weeks ago, she has learned to communicate well in the Spanish language.  She can understand and speak Spanish amazingly well after just 7 short weeks.  She started attending a private school here in San Juan del Sur this week.  Yesterday was her first day.  She loved it!! She will be going 2 or 3 days a week for the remaining weeks that they will be here.  Here's a picture of her in her cute school uniform!

Camryn loves everyone.  She especially loves little children.  Here she is with Delilah.

Camryn wanted to go on the zip line for her birthday.  She has no fears.  She went on these zip lines without any hesitation.

Here she is with Andy and Kate.

She and Logan and Carter have been attending a ceramics class.  She is very enthused about her project!

She loves animals and has been helping to take care of some orphaned kittens.

She loves playing volleyball and played with some of her Nica friends on the beach.

She makes all the little kids feel special.  She loves Irlanda's daughter, Stephanie.

She made some friends at the orphanage.

This is the school she is attending for the next few weeks.  She pretty much has to speak Spanish there.

This is her at the end of her first day at Stella Maris.  She was happy and excited and doesn't she look so cute!!!  She has adopted the nickname Camila here in Nicaragua and that was how she was introduced at school.

There are many more things to tell about Camryn and her life in the United States, like her love for horses, her garden, her sewing etc.

Love you Camila!!!  You are an impressive young lady!!!
